Blog #1 The Writing Autobiography

Howdy I am Colin, I am a second semester Kinesiology student here and hope to attend P.A. school once I graduate. I am from Catonsville, Maryland and I went to high school at Mount Saint Joseph, an all boys school in Baltimore. I am a writer that absolutely hates to revise and make outlines. I tend to just go with the flow and it has always worked for me. For me In high school I did all of the typical forms of acadmic writing that would be expected, but at Maryland all I have had to do so far are autobiographies and research papers. I usually do not make an outline, I simply sit down and start writing until the paper is complete, and I will have a friend proof read it once it is complete. However, I am sure I will start writing in stages and making drafts in this class. Starting and finishing papers are the hardest part of writing for me, but once I get into the body of a paper I do not find it too difficult. I was satisfied when I wrote a biographical paper on my grandfather Freshman year of high school, but other than that the only satisfaction I get out of writing is when it is done.
